Location: Willamette Valley, OR
Alcohol: 12.9%
This wine is showing complex aromas of fall leaves, hay, sandal wood, espresso, smoked meat, bakers chocolate and mesquite. Even on the palate there is a round weighty feeling that is high in glycerol assuring that there is considerable fruit power hiding in this wine. On day two blackberry, plum, and raspberry notes emerge. The wine does not gain weight as the fruit appears it actually becomes more elegant.
Held for a year in barrel and a year in bottle, bottled unfined & unfiltered.
