Bouquet of deep red rose, ginger, lemongrass, lychee and Valencia orange. A palate of grapefruit, cardamom, candied rose petal, key lime and almond. Opulent and elegant with complex aromatics, densely concentrated flavors, and powerful structure that linger over a long and sensual finish. Serious, but also delightfully approachable.
Fruit went straight to press and fermented in stainless steel.
Oak Ridge vineyard was planted in 1984 on wind-blown loess at 1400ft on a south-facing slope. Farmed organically.
