Whole bunch fermentation and no added sulfurs. 16 day maceration with extremely gentle pressing afterwards. Elevage is continued for 8-10 months in egg shaped tank before bottling.
Haute-Ronze is a very special site in the Cru of Réginié, sitting just above 300 meters in elevation with soils loaded with granitic sand and gravel, as well as various deposits of clay. Here Philippe organically farms vines that are 50 years old on average.
