A highly expressive, complex, racy and refreshing Sancerre.

Grapes from each village are fermented separately before blending. All fermentations start spontaneously, but neutral yeasts are added if they are needed. Wine spends 6 months in stainless steel tanks.

This Sancerre is a blend of their three villages, Sainte Gemme, Sur yen Vaux and Verdigny. The soils from the villages vary from clay to limestone. Now in its fourth generation, the Baudry family and its Domaine de Rome cultivate 13 hectares of vineyards in Sancerre. Organically farmed since 2010 (certified in 2023), the family works meticulously in the vineyard to allow minimal intervention in the cellar.
