This blend of Chenin Blanc, Green Hungarian, Vermentino and Trousseau Gris is crisp and mineral with notes of ripe melon and white flower.

Varieties: Chenin Blanc, Green Hungarian, Vermentino, Trousseau Gris
Location: Suisun Valley, CA
Alcohol: 12.34%
Production: 47 cases

Medium gold color, crisp acidity and stony minerality, fragrant with floral and melon notes. Tart with lush honeysuckle and apple blossom on the palate.

Fermented on native yeasts and bottled unfined & unfiltered.

Grown by Roger King in the Suisun Valley. The vineyard is situated on the eastern slope of the valley and its soil is deep clay loam. The King-Andrews white wine is a Heritage Revival project started in 2010 by Matthew Rorick, when he procured cuttings from an abandoned Trousseau Gris vineyard in Calistoga. Roger King raised four vines from these cuttings, and the inspiration to re-create a pre-prohibition white field blend was born. Since then, the planting has been expanded to include Chenin Blanc, Vermentino and Green Hungarian.
