Scintillating with focus, precision and cut, but still hellbent on mischief. Aromas of almond croissant, ginger, sea spray, and a bone-dry finish accompany a nose of bright, sunny yellow flowers and sea spray. Complex in flavor and totally unique.
Fruit was hand picked and whole cluster pressed; primary fermentation was undertaken in 227L barrique. Methode Traditionelle, three years sous tirage, zero dosage.
Picpoul was planted in the limestone soils of Rorick Heritage Vineyard in 2007. The depth, texture and complexity of this variety from the site continues to reveal itself.
