Brilliant pale garnet hue, explosive aromatics and stout grip. Pure, red-fruited expression of the variety, showing tension derived from limestone soils. Crisp, nervy, energetic and delicious.
Fruit was hand-picked and destemmed before undergoing a 21-day fermentation and being pressed down to neutral oak puncheons. Wine was racked off of its lees at 8 months and saw a total of 12 months elevage before being bottled unfined & unfiltered.
Rorick Heritage Vineyard is known for its limestone soils and alpine growing season.
