This rich yet restrained Chardonnay shows flavors of juicy stone fruit, citrus rind, wet stones, and grapefruit.
The grapes were pressed cold, the juice went to tank for one day, then straight to barrel with all but the green lees, for a cool, slow fermentation. Both primary and malolactic fermentations are done using ambient yeasts. The wine was aged for 10 months in 2 neutral French, oak barrels and 1 second pass barrel from 2019.
