Il Molinaccio’s four hectare farm is located due east of Montepulciano in the small hamlet of Cervognano. Winemaker Alessandro Sartini farms organically and uses a Guyot training method as he believes it makes a more elegant and expressive wine from the Prugnolo Gentile varietal of Sangiovese. The property lies at 300 meters above sea level and is composed of Pliocele sand and fossil based soils.
