Crisp, clean and aromatic. This clear yellow Tocai Friulano exhibits beautiful aromatics of wet stone, gardenia flower and lemon/lime zest. The acid is tight and focused but provides a perfect backdrop for the round textured finished.
Foot-stomped, juice spent 8 hours on skins before being whole-cluster pressed, racked and aged in neutral French oak barrels.
This Chenin Blanc comes from Saini Vineyard in Sonoma’s Dry Creek Valley. It’s inter-planted among Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, Carignan and Grenache vines. These 90+ year-old vines are carefully harvested from their red-skinned neighbors and allow them to showcase their naturally high acidity, subtle minerality and beautiful aromatics.
