A bright, lighter-bodied red wine, delicious and quaffable. Can be enjoyed at room temp or even lightly chilled.
The majority of grapes were direct pressed and some clusters and berries floated in the juice during fermentation to bring a touch of color and tannin to the wine. They took the "reverse saignee" approach with two of the Pinot Noir ferments. For the next portion of the blend, Pinot Gris whole clusters were layered in the first 1/2 of the tank, with destemmed Pinot Noir on top.
