From the first known true Gamay Noir plantings at high elevation in the Sierra Foothills. At 3300’ its one of the highest vineyards in California. Northernly exposition, rolling hillsides and a deep volcanic clay loam and quartz, Gamay thrives in this dramatic alpine environment.
