This wine was inspired by the traditional white blend of the Cheverny region within the Loire Valley in France. Bright, textured and expressive. Aromas of citrus and flowers with a soft salinity and subtle minerality on the palate.

Grapes were harvested in over 4 different picks and fermented separately, then foot tread to soak on skins before being whole bunch pressed the next morning. The juice was collected from the press pan and transferred to old French oak barrels and fermented with native yeast and bacteria. The wine aged on lees for 8 months and then it was racked for the first time to blend and bottle without fining or filtration. Minimal sulfur was used at bottling.

Fruit coming from Bassi & Rancho Arroyo Grande vineyards in Avila Beach and Arroyo Grande on the SLO Coast. Soils are sandstone and loamy clay with shale and Bassi Vineyard is certified Demeter Biodynamic while Rancho Arroyo Vineyard is practicing organic.
