Notes of forest floor, juniper, bramble, rose and cerise abound. Finished bright and long with just a hint of salinity.
The Edna Valley and Arroyo Grande sites were fermented destemmed; the Santa Maria Valley site fermented with 20% whole cluster. The wines were aged as single-vineyard lots for 11 months in neutral barriques before coming together in tank.
Fruit was sourced from three different vineyards in the Edna Valley, Arroyo Grande and Santa Maria Valley, from sites comprised of volcanic, granite and riverstone soils.
