This fresh and thirst-quenching Sauvignon Blanc gets its name from the Miwok word for water and lives up to it.

Location: Dry Creek Valley, Sonoma County
Alcohol: 13%
Classic Sauvignon Blanc character with an emphasis on freshness and pure fruit expression.
Fruit was picked and allowed to cold settle for 72 hours. Once settled, the juice was racked and allowed to warm to 56 degrees fahrenheit where it was held throughout primary fermentation. Once primary fermentation was complete a small amount of sulfer was added to halt malolactic fermentation. Settled and racked off its lees, and raised in stainless steel tanks until bottling 5 months later.
Liwa is the Miwok name for water, and this thirst-quenching Sauvignon Blanc is made in collaboration with Inizi Winery (Guerneville, CA) Made using sustainable farming practices in the Dry Creek Valley AVA, Sonoma County.
