Lithe and delicate, it has all the savory subtle notes of alpine wines with the complexity of Pinot Noir. It is not the loudest one at the party, rather the fascinating, thoughtful friend in the corner you want to hang out with all night long.

This is a conferment of Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris. Varieties were blended into two 1.5 ton open-top fermentations. Both were carried out with wild yeast and went through 3 weeks of (at first nothing for 10 days) then pigéage once daily until peak fermentation - twice daily - then back to once daily as it finished up. One fermenter was pressed while the other was allowed to go through post fermentation maceration, then rested on the skins for an additional 60 days.

From Underwood Mountain’s Pear Ridge Vineyard; an organically farmed site just a couple miles from Loop de Loop. It is planted at up to 1500ft in elevation and faces due south.
