Stone fruit and honeysuckle, Anjou pear and lemon rind, all laced with white pepper and the electric snap of green jolly rancher acidity. This wine is bone dry. In its youth, it is bright and crystalline. With age, it gathers warmth: more stone fruit, a whisper of nuttiness, a softening of its edges.
Fermented in neutral oak and aged for 10 months.
Grüner Veltliner grown loop de loop’s wind-swept, high-altitude Underwood Mountain sites, yields sparingly – each cluster shaped by volcanic soil, altitude, air and intention. Farmed organically.
