This wine smells, tastes, and feels golden. A generous bouquet of quince, wildflower honey and hazelnut waft from the glass while luscious orchard fruits and ripe meyer lemon quench the palate.
Direct-to-press, barrel-fermented in neutral oak, and aged undisturbed on the lees. After 6 months in neutral oak, the wine was bottled with minimal sulfur and without fining or filtration.
This vintage includes select barrels of Chenin Blanc from Shell Creek (60%), Sauvignon Blanc from Presqu’ile Vineyard (30%), and Chardonnay from Rancho Arroyo Grande (10%).
