Varieties: 70% Pinot Gris, 30% Chardonnay
Location: Willamette Valley, OR
Alcohol: 13%
A skin-contact blend of Pinot Gris and Chardonnay that has a shockingly pink hue and a deeply dry, tannic, sensual vibe. Baked orange citrus, lightly red-fruited, and deeply complex-though also wildly drinkable.
The grapes underwent varying degrees of skin contact, ranging from 24 hours to three weeks. Aged 5 months in a mixture of French neutral oak barrels and stainless steel.
The Pinot Gris comes from a high-elevation site in the Chehalem Mountains, and the Chardonnay comes from Willamette Valley.
