Traditional winemaking techniques are employed, with fermentation in neutral vessels to preserve the varietal’s character. Aged in neutral French oak barrels.
Kirschenmann Vineyard, located on the east side of Lodi’s Mokelumne River AVA, was planted in 1915. The vines are head-trained, dry-farmed and own-rooted, thriving in silica-rich, white sandy soils.
