Inspired by the Cerasuolo wines from Abruzzo, this wine is a jubilant, citrus-inflected wine that dances across the palate. Blood orange peel, sweet red cherry, vanilla, chalk and salty inflections are present throughout. Mid-weight and balanced, this is a joyful, crushable rosé.

Grapes are destemmed and macerated on their skins Juice is pressed off the skins and fermented in stainless steel. Finished in neutral French oak barrels.

Coquelicot Vineyard in the Los Olivos AVA of Santa Ynez Valley was originally planted in 1997. The vineyard was acquired by the Rosenson family in 2005 and has been CCOF-certified organic since 2015. The site is planted on Ballard series soils, a gravelly fine sandy loam.
