Full-bodied with notes of licorice, figs, boysenberry jam and ripe blueberries.
Fruit was cluster sorted and de-stemmed before spontaneous fermentation on native yeasts in stainless steel. Pumpovers naturally started malolactic fermentation. Finished unfined & unfiltered.
Produced from the “Passadore Block” on the Poor Ranch Vineyard in Hopland, Mendocino and was planted in 1952. Poor Ranch is a CCOF vineyard and ranch in Hopland, Mendocino, farmed without irrigation.
