Lean and mineral on the nose with warmer aromas of Pink Lady apple, retaining the wet stone and seashell sense. The palate grips with tight, crushed rock minerality, offering toasted almond warmth as a counterpoint.
Whole cluster pressed, native fermentation in French oak 225L barrels with no fining or filtration. Aged 17 months in barrel on lees.
Fruit is sourced from Bien Nacido, Rancho Vinedo & Rancho Sisquoc vineyards, planted in 1973 and 1999.
