Nate Ready of Hiyu Wine Farm is a Master Sommelier turned farmer and winemaker. The farm itself is located in Oregon’s Hood River Valley and Columbia Gorge. Ready is guided by nature, focusing on biodiversity and sustainability in the field and in the cellar, and using minimal intervention practices in both. Smockshop Band wines are blends of grapes from different sites and envisioned as accessible introductions to the beauty of the Columbia Gorge beyond Hiyu.
