Arteis & Co. 2007 Brut Rosé
Scar of the Sea 2019 Sparkling Rosé of Pinot Noir
Jean Diot MV Champagne Brut Rosé

Arteis & Co. 2007 Brut Rosé

The Wine: Coming from 50% Grands Crus and 50% Premiers Crus vineyards. Aged 3 months following disgorgement in November 2015. Aged for a total of 6 years. A 50/50 blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Fresh and lively on a palate full of red fruit and blood orange. 12% alc.

The Winemaker: Artéis & Co and its wines were imagined to respond to the avant-garde international life enthusiasts desire to experience alternatives to mainstream luxury champagne brands, hence the creation of solely three micro-cuvées.

Scar of the Sea 2019 Sparkling Rosé of Pinot Noir

The Wine: Coming from Topotero Vineyard in Avila Beach, San Luis Obispo County. Grapes were whole cluster pressed, undergoing native fermentation in French oak barrels with no fining or filtering. Mouth-filling and persistant mousse with strawberry cream and watermelon flavors. 12.2% alc.

The Winemaker: Scar of the Sea was established in 2012 and is owned & operated by Mikey & Gina Giugni in San Luis Obispo, California. They focus on working with farmers who are instrumental in farming for the future and making wines with as little intervention as possible. Their wines are made with the intention to tell a story of where they come from, the people who farm them, and reflect each vintage under the California sun.

Jean Diot MV Champagne Brut Rosé

The Wine: More than 75% of the wine comes from the Coteaux Sud of Epernay, and between 15-25% of reserve wines are used to perpetuate the house style from year to year. Complexity and color are added to the wine in the traditional way of Champagne by adding 12-13% of still red wine to the blend before aging. Fresh and lively, made from a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. Red fruit dominant and supple with fine bubbles. 12% alc.

The Winemaker:

In the beginning of the 1960s, Jean Diot created the champagne that would hold his name. During the following years, he cultivated the family estate with the goal of preserving the family values and their traditions. The estate was then inherited by his children in 1998. The Maison Jean Diot, based in Vinay from day one, carries on the will of its founder by producing several vins de Champagne thanks to the meticulous farming of the vineyards located on the south hills of Epernay and in the Marne’s valley.
