This white wine made from Pinot Noir grapes is dry, clean and bright; meant to pair with oysters and other briny sea creatures.

Variety: 100% Pinot Noir
Vineyard: Alsea Vineyard
Location: Willamette Valley, OR
Alcohol: 10.55%

Light yellow in color, may gain a light pink hue down the road. Dry with a slight brininess and marzipan character. Clean and bright, meant to pair with oysters and other briny sea creatures. This is Teutonic’s version of Muscadet.

Hand harvested and sent direct to press. Wild yeast fermented with no extended skin contact. Aged in neutral oak barrels.

The fruit comes from Alsea Vineyard, dry-farmed with with minimal intervention, no irrigation, planted with various native plants to create ground cover and enrich the soil. Alsea Vineyard was planted in 2005 by Barnaby and Olga Tuttle. The tiny town of Alsea is located 19 miles from the Pacific Ocean as a crow flies. The soil is rich with iron and the roots of the vines pick up on this characteristic, making Alsea wines reflect the terroir of the vineyard so well.
