This Pinot Noir is brimming with flavors of bright red berries, wild herbs, and a dash of earthy spice.
Hand-harvested and destemmed, native fermentation in neutral oak barrels. Skin maceration for two-three weeks with daily punchdowns.
Laurel Vineyard is known for its long hang time and slow ripening, and its high elevation (about 1250ft) makes it one of the highest sites in the Willamette Valley. The Pinot Noir vines here were planted in 1981 and sit on Wind Blown Loam and Laurelwood soils. This vineyard is dry farmed.
