Variety: 100% Lemberger
Location: Württemberg, Germany
Alcohol: 12%
An uncomplicated yet very complex Lemberger. Red and black berries dominate the nose, followed by impressions of black pepper and clove. This wine appears very juicy on the palate and has an acidity that encourages drinking. The fine-grained tannin leaves a lovely mouthfeel.
The wine is fermented with native yeast for approximately 3-4 weeks on its skins, before being racked to finish in 80% neutral barrique, where the wine spends an additional 6 months of elevage.
The grapes come from Certified Organic younger vines; biodynamic conversion under Demeter.
