Summer Sipping

Well folks, summer is in full swing, and as we make our way into August, now is the time for soaking up the last of the lazy beach days, park hangs and backyard barbecues. We've gathered a few suggestions from our newest releases of things to sip on as we make the most of the last of the hot days. Read on to find your new favorite wine.

Hervé Villemade 2021 Sauvignon Blanc - Buy It!

The OG 'porch pounder,' Sauvignon Blanc has certainly solidified its legacy as THE summer wine, and this one certainly falls under that heading. Zesty and refreshing with tropical fruit and citrus aromas, underscored with a palate that is supple and mineral, you'll want to pop a second immediately following the first.

Old Westminster 2020 Pinot Gris 'Terracotta' - Buy It!

Instead of a rosé, try this layered skin contact Pinot Gris with notes of tropical and stone fruits with subtle spice and integrated tannins. A hint of minerality on the finish makes this one of our absolute favorite summer wines.

Grosgrain 2021 Rosé of Grenache 'Blush' Buy It!

We did, of course, include the traditional rosé as well. Made from Grenache, this rosé is a pale blush hue with aromas of strawberry, ruby-red grapefruit, melon and white flower. Crisp, fresh and fully dry with mouthwatering acidity. Drink next to a body of water for maximum benefits.

Two Shepherds 2021 Mourvèdre 'L'il Trouble' - Buy It!

No summer drink list would be complete without a fun, chillable red. This one defies the typical boundaries of Mourvèdre with its light red color and bright cherry and watermelon flavors. Good to drink in the heat of the day or after the sun goes down.
